West Kensington 251 / 270

In 1874 the MDR (now the District line) opened the station as Fulham – North End, but it was renamed West Kensington three years later.

The postcode of West Kensington, W14, became the first one not to have a post office.

Famous past residents of the area are the band Queen, who shared a flat at 36 Sinclair Road, and Mahatma Gandhi, who lived at 20 Barons Court Road while studying law.

The first pic is of 251 @ W.Ken, but 2 + 3 are of 127 which is at West Brompton.
