Clapham South 113 / 270

Clapham South is one of eight London Underground stations with a deep-level air-raid shelter underneath it. It was the first to be developed by Holden for the Morden extension and has features which are typical of the stations on this stretch – low level concourse, white wall tiling with black and green trim, and a concrete paved floor feature.
The station was originally to have been called ‘Nightingale Lane’ and this name still exists hidden behind the blue bars on the platform roundels

Look for the remains of a tree across the road, as you exit the station. Painted in multiple pastel colours. Enjoy.
