Kenton 42 / 270

A station first opened at Kenton on 15 June 1912 to serve the London & North Western Railway’s ‘New Line’ from Euston to Watford Junction, becoming a Tube station on 16 April 1917
The nearby Kenton Theatre was founded on 7 November 1805 and is the fourth oldest working theatre in England.
The streets of Kenton appear in one episode of the BBC TV series Fawlty Towers starring John Cleese, and are also referred to in the song ‘Kenton Kev’ by the Berlin-based punk-jazz band The Magoo Brothers.
