Regent’s Park 59 / 270

A parliamentary law originally declared that no station could be built at the current site, but this was overturned in 1904, since the line already ran through the site. Regent’s Park opened on 10 March 1906.

With no surface buildings, the station can only be accessed by a subway and lifts. The staircase has 96 steps, a relatively small number in comparison with Covent Garden’s 193.

Went there yesterday – 19/11/13. Could not find it. Staff could not help. Where is it?
