Oxford Circus station opened in 1900 and was named after the world-famous Oxford Street. It’s the busiest station on the underground without connection to national rail services.
Look out for restored Art Nouveau motifs designed by the German artist Hans Unger on Victoria line platforms.

The Photographers’ Gallery located nearby in Ramillies Street is the largest public gallery in London dedicated to photography.
