West Acton station is grade II listed and the branch originally opened for freight trains in April 1917. The Central line began to use the track from 1920, and both West Acton and North Acton opened on 5 November 1923.
Although Rodney and Del of Only Fools and Horses purportedly live in Peckham, the actual housing estate featured in the tv sitcom is in Acton.

West Acton is lovely and the station is one of my favourites. It looks fantastic lit up on a dark night and looking at it from the platform, it always reminds me of ‘Marineville’ from Gerry Anderson’s ‘Stingray’.
Please add the number 22 to the title for West Acton. At present only /270 is shown. Thank you. Looking forward to seeing Perivale appear soon.
