Fulham Broadway station originally opened as Walham Green. In 1905 the building was redesigned by architect Harry W Ford to accommodate the growing crowds for nearby Stamford Bridge stadium, the home of premier league team Chelsea Football Club.
Scenes from the film Sliding Doors (1998) featuring Gwyneth Paltrow were shot in Fulham Broadway station.
