Ealing Broadway 21 / 270

On platforms 8 and 9 of the District line at Ealing Broadway station, several of the early solid red-disc Underground signs remain, which were used before the creation of Edward Johnston’s roundel in 1919.
Ealing Broadway is the western terminus for both the Central and District lines. Crossrail will also connect with the station from 2018.

Look for the original Great Western Railway, now Central Line platforms. They were originally part of the G.W.R. line to Shepherds Bush, now incorporated into the Central Line. Also the original District Railway signage viewable from the platforms, and the station frontage, viewable from outside, a few yards distant North from the current exit. Enjoy.
