Edgware Road is divided into two separate stations, one for the Bakerloo and the other for the Hammersmith and City, District and Circle Line. In 2007, a London assembly member tried to rename the Bakerloo branch of Edgware Road as ‘Church Street Market’ in order to eradicate any confusion, his proposal was later rejected.
