North Harrow station opened on 22 March 1915.

Not far from the Tube station is the 14^th-century Headstone Manor, which runs events and exhibitions.

There is substantial parkland in the neighbourhood, such as Yeading Brook Open Space and miniature railway, and the sports ground in the adjoining pasture grasslands of Pinner Park.
