Preston Road station opened in 1908 to serve the local clay-pigeon shooting site for that year’s Olympic Games.
It has won many awards over the years for its horticultural displays.
Near to the station is the 19-acre Green Flag accredited Preston Park.

Willesden Junction’s now on the list – as No. 41 – but Preston Road is 41, I think Willesden Junction should be 49. Perhaps this is just a case of muddling up the photos?
