Holloway Road is the closest Tube station to the Emirates Stadium, the new home of Arsenal football club.

An unused lift shaft in the station was the site of an experimental spiral escalator, which was not successful and was never used by the public.

Holloway Road is the beginning of the A1, a road that runs all the way up the east side of England to Edinburgh in Scotland.
