Matt Stokes (born in U.K, 1973) is an artist and film maker. In 2006, he was the winner of the Beck’s Futures Prize, and was shortlisted for the Northern Art Prize 2009. His solo exhibitions include, These are the days, Arthouse, Texas (2009), [un]promised Land, attitudes espace d’arts contemporains, Geneva (2007) and Pills to Purge Melancholy, Collective Gallery, Edinburgh (2006).
