I like it when ‘things’ can talk. For me, it’s very natural that a father­tunnel should speak to his son­tunnel. I don’t really remember what the London Tube said to me when I used it for the first time in December 1990, during my first trip to the UK. I had to go to a hospital to consult a professor about my daughter’s health problems. I didn’t have time to enjoy the Tube, but it helped realise this meeting, so important for my family. My now grown-up daughter has since visited London several times and really enjoys using the Tube.
