Canary Wharf Screen is an innovative motion-picture screening programme initiated by Art on the Underground. Presented on one of the capital’s largest public projection screens, this exciting seasonal programme presents leading contemporary and historical artists’ moving image for our customers, staff and visitors free of charge. The inaugural 2012 series was programmed in collaboration with Film and Video Umbrella, Animate Projects, LUX and BFI, four of the UK’s finest moving image organisations. Monday – Friday 8.30am – 7.30pm
Saturday – Sunday 10am – 6pm

From 31st May to 28th July 2013, Canary Wharf Screen presents moving-image commissions by Art on the Underground artists. These include Bob and Roberta Smith and Tim Newton’s 2012 Stratford project Who is Community?, excepts from Dryden Goodwin’s 2010 Jubilee line staff portrait commission Linear, and a documentary about Art on the Underground’s popular Tube map covers featuring artists including Jeremy Deller, Tracey Emin, Cornelia Parker and Mark Wallinger.
