To launch the week-long Big Dance celebrations around London and the UK, DansAthletic is an energetic promenade dance performance at Canary Wharf. Inspired by London’s successful bid for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games this performance stars 120 children and young people aged 10 – 13 years from schools in the 5 Olympic boroughs. East London Dance commissioned the award winning Protein Dance to choreograph this piece which will be performed in and around the station, parks and plazas.
