This week’s recording is the contact call of a juvenile Buzzard perched in a tree near a river. Eventually its parent comes and encourages the juvenile to glide around the area of pasture. In the background you can hear rooks in a rookery and wind in the trees. The recording was made in Powys, Wales on the first of September 1979.
The weather that day was sunny and breezy.
