Ellie Harrison (born in England, 1979) is a multi-media artist based in Nottingham. She is famed for her use of large quantities of data; collected through labour intensive games, trials, systems and experiments. Other projects include ‘Day-to-Day Data’, a group exhibition of ‘artists who collect list, database and absurdly analyse the data of everyday life’ and ‘Eat 22′ for which she photographed everything she ate for a year. In 2010 she set up and launched theArtists’ Lottery Syndicate’. She currently acts as Syndicate Secretary for the forty-strong collective of UK based artists attempting to win the jackpot in the coming year.
