Zoorama: Week 39, Manx Shearwater

This week’s recording is of the stuttering wheezes and whines of the Manx Shearwater. The birds were in their borrows in an area of rabbit grazed grassland. The recording was made at ten to two in the afternoon on the twenty third of May 1986 on Skokholm Island, in Dyfed, Wales, by Richard Ranft.
