This week’s recording is of a flock of Fieldfares. The birds were in Scots Pine on an island in a loch, before taking off and flying overhead. In the background are the calls of Redwing, Coal Tits, Blackbird and rutting Red Deer. The recording was made at two o’clock in the afternoon on the twenty eighth of October 1992 near Inverness in Scotland, by William Sinclair. The weather that day was bright and sunny.
