Zoorama: Week 21, Common Tern

This week’s recording is of a dozen Common Terns. Some are flying around carrying small fish, which the other Terns are attacking them for. The birds were above a grassy bank, beside a small pool near an estuary. The sea can be heard in the background. The recordings were made in Scotland at eight o’clock in the evening on the twenty third of May 1993.
