Zoorama: Week 16, Cheetah

This week’s recording is of the yelps of an eleven year old male cheetah. The animal was pacing up and down a small indoor cage, whilst a human held meat in an adjacent cage. This cheetah was born in captivity, but its parents were from South West Africa. This recording was made at eleven o’clock in the morning on the thirty first of October 1986 at Whipsnade Zoo in England.
