Sarah Bridgland

Sarah Bridgland was born in 1982 in Cambridge and currently lives and works in the Peak District. She studied at the Royal College of Art, London and on graduating was selected forBloomberg New Contemporaries 2006. She has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions, includingARTfutures, the Contemporary Art Society, London (2007), Material Worlds, Barts Gallery, London (2008) and Kaleidoscope, Patrick Heide Contemporary Art, London (2012) Her work is in the collections of the Philbrook Museum of Art, USA, The London Clinic and Sir Terence Conran. She is a workshop leader for the schools and families programmes at the V&A, and also leads workshops for charities such as the Campaign for Drawing and Vital Arts. Bridgland is currently exhibiting in The First Cut, a touring exhibition of international paper artists, at the Djanogly Art Gallery in Nottingham.
